By using LeafyGrade (the "App") you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The service
LeafyGrade provides an informational health score for packaged food products, additive information and personal warnings based on your profile. Scoring follows deterministic rules and is not influenced by ads or sponsorships.
2. Accuracy of data
Product data comes largely from the community-driven Open Food Facts database and may be incomplete or incorrect. Treat scores and warnings as guidance; always check the product's official packaging for the final decision.
3. Halal and allergen warnings
Halal and allergen warnings are automated flags based on the ingredient list and are not a certification or guarantee. LeafyGrade does not guarantee that a product is halal or free of a given allergen. For serious allergies or religious requirements, rely on the product packaging and official certifications.
4. Accounts and use
You may use the App without an account. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes or in ways that harm our systems.
5. User contributions
When you add a product manually, you confirm the information is accurate and that you have the rights to submit it. These contributions may be used to improve the service.
6. Subscriptions
Optional Premium subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to those stores' rules. Cancellations and renewals are managed from your store account.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its brand and content belong to LeafyGrade. Open Food Facts data is provided under its own open licence.
8. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is published on this page.
